Saturday gives two opportunities to get to grips with your camera's advanced controls as we take an in-depth hands-on approach to Metering and Depth of field.

Sunday is a unique opportunity to learn how to get the scene in front of you converted into a stunning image. The four key elements of photography tackled in our indoor workshop.

Each of these classes are suitable for all levels and as usual will be led by Ian in his gentle and humorous teaching style. Whichever workshop you take, you will be challenged to think and try out new skills, and you are guaranteed to have fun.

The Four Key Elements in One day

Are you frequently disappointed by the results of your photography? Do your photographs rarely match up to the scene you had in front of you when you pressed the shutter? Well here is a class that will get you headed in the right direction when it comes to understanding how to take that three dimensional scene that you experience with all of your senses and convert it to a stunning two dimensional visual image.

We will take a look at the four key elements that go into making a good photograph:

· The Photographer's vision

· Light

· Composition

· Technique

With a firm understanding of each you can massively improve your image making.

This was originally a series of four classes that cost $160. Take the opportunity to get it all in one day for the low price of $60. The class will take place indoors at Ian Murray Photography, Pembroke MA.
