Jerome and Ink

Shaun is heading up to Jerome on Sunday for some ink work at Jerome Tattoo. They will be opening early for us, so take a ride and get some ink, or go just for the ride and company.

Mileage: 100 miles one way.
Route Map

The ride will end in Jerome, so be sure to know how to get back or pair up with someone before the ride starts so you aren't surprised if everyone is gone or no one wants to go back the way you do.

There is no gas in Jerome, so probably a good idea to stop in Cordes Junction on the way up.

A couple of options for the ride back. You can either head back the same route, head over via Cottonwood to I17 and dash down the highway. Head back down Mingus Mountain to Prescott and then down to Yarnell, Wickenberg, and into the west side of town. Or east siders might head up I17 to Camp Verde and come back via Payson.

Plenty of great riding to choose from, this may be one of the last cooler days until September.  I heard that we may get monsoons the last week of June this year, so don't put off any riding if you can, it might get really interesting real soon.

It was a perfect morning for a ride. Meet new and interesting people. And, thanks to Kat, who proposed a different routs back to Phoenix, the return ride was the highlight of the day. Perfect day and Ride. Look forward to more rides.

None of the weekend closures on Interstate 17 should have a bearing on this ride and it should be open by 4am. http://www.azdot.gov/Highways/Valley_Freeways/i17/Black_Canyon_FWY_North/closures_restrictions.asp

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
