Pi Masters: March 2014 Meeting - Come learn about the Raspberry Pi!

  • Microsoft: Friendship Heights

5404 Wisconsin Ave, Chevy Chase, MD (map)

  • Pi Masters is holding its March meetup event on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 5:30 pm at Microsoft in Chevy Chase, Maryland.  PLEASE NOTE: the February 13th meeting was cancelled due to the expected snowstorm.  RSVP on Meetup.com/PiMasters.  Again, I encourage you to bring your kids if you plan on building projects together with them!

Pi Masters was formed to encourage people of all levels and ages to come together to learn about and experiment with programming, engineering, electronics, and their interests in making digitally enabled devices, specifically using the Raspberry Pi, but also using such platforms as Arduino, BeagleBone and the like. All these platforms are affordable (Raspberry Pi runs around $35), readily available, small in size (just around 2” by 3”), and easy to use. We will share projects that we’ve built and tips to help each other create cool things.

This meetup is a collaborative effort organized by Multi Platform Media and Multi Platform Labs.

Please join us at this exciting event that we hope will bring together a collaborative and supportive maker community here in the Washington DC area.

    AGENDA:

From A to D: Demonstration on hooking up an analog to digital converter to
make real world measurements of anything, and use them in your programs.
