Pigs Peace Sanctuary Needs you!
www.pigspeace.org
Come out and help the animals at the sanctuary!
Peace Pigs Volunteer Days are on the 1st Saturday of every month, from noon - 4pm.
We will get to enjoy the great outdoors while hanging out with good people and fantastic animals!
Judy and all of the animals at the sanctuary need you to break out the work clothes and get busy.
Be sure to bring expendable clothes and weather-appropriate gear.
To make these days more manageable for organizing volunteers, the Volunteer Days are limited to 20 people.
RSVPs are requested in order to plan projects and to make sure that everyone that wants to come on out and work for the animals can.
If you RSVP, please be committed to showing up, so that Judy can get accurate numbers of volunteers.
If you RSVP and find you cannot come, please change your RSVP at least 2 days before so people on the waiting list will be able to come.
Examples of volunteer projects are: scooping poop, spreading gravel or wood chips, cleaning out barns, and setting up fencing.
Visitor dogs are absolutely not allowed at Pigs Peace. Do not bring your dog - or cat for that matter :)
Carpools will be leaving at 11:00am from the Park & Ride at NE 65th & Ravenna (meet on side across from Bus Stop Espresso).
You are also welcome to drive up on your own. Directions will be send to everyone that RSVPs.
This group doesn't have any additional upcoming Meetups scheduled.
