Hi everyone, I've had an email from one of our members, Barry, who sometimes walks with his black Labrador called Tessa. Barry will be going away for a week and his usual dog sitter will not be available. Can anyone recommend a reliable dog carer or a good kennel?? Any suggestions, advice or ideas would be appreciated. Good Luck Barry and Tessa. Licks from Pippin.

Thanks to you dear fellow doggie lovers for your caring words on Tuffy's passing. Today I visited the Lonsdale RSPCA and donated all Tuffy's little personal things -comfy baskets, blankets, towels, eating bowls and beauty essentials. I looked at all the other wonderful donations, and shed more cleansing tears in a final absolute goodbye to my little man.
...Not with a heavy heart, but with the joy of honouring Tuffy by "paying it forward" - an axiom that has fulfilled my life in more ways than I ever could have imagined.

Tuffy will always be remembered for the little treasure that he was. Wonderful of you to donate Tuffy's things to RSPCA - I'm sure that's what little Tuffy would have wanted.

My heart goes out to you Carole. It is devastating when a "member" of the family leaves. More people should have your spirit of "paying it forward". I think it's a lovely thing you have done in Tuffy's honour.

    Hi doggy members

Sadness has come to my heart as my dear little mate, Tuffy left our world last Friday. He departed without any pain, and now he can rest in peace. We had 14 wonderful years of love and companionship together, and it seems so strange not to see his little face anymore. I am so happy that we did get to at least have one walk with the group in February, and to celebrate Pippin's birthday. By the by: I have a near-new dog pram reminding me of our fun doggie walks and perambulations together (original cost was $110 but will sell for $70). So if anyone is looking for one for your small dog I'd be happy to hear from you. The pram is a constant reminder of my dear little mate, and pulls at my heartstrings every time I see it! Wishing you all lots of joy and fun in future meetups with your precious lads and lassies.

Carole, I am sure that Tuffy had a wonderful life with you, something that not all dogs achieve. You will eventually be able to look back on the lovely times you have had together and he will never leave your heart.

If anyone wants to see Tuffy's dog pram that Carole is selling there are a couple of photos of the pram from the walk in February (Pippin's Birthday Bash Walk).
