  • Meet at the Trailhead Kiosk/Bulletin Board at 9:45. Look for the Liberty bike Jerseys.
  • Liberty Bikes will be hosting Beginner to Intermediate friendly group ride in Bent Creek. We will meet every Saturday at the Rice Pinnacle parking area at 10:00 AM The ride are as follows:

    Beginner - 7-12 miles -[masked] hours - Mountain climb possible with some technical descents that can be walked - Mostly single track with some gravel road transitions.
    Intermediate - 12-20 miles - 2-3.5 hours - Multiple mountain climbs with technical descents - As much single track as possible.

    Casual Pace - Regrouping at trail intersections until the last rider gives the green light to continue - No rider left behind

    Helmets are required and biking gloves are recommended. Bring along water (water is a must have!!!), a spare tube, and snacks for the ride.

    Weather permitting , we will be meeting at the Rice Pinnacle Parking Area at 10AM so please be on time. Should there be bad weather we will make the call and post it here on meetup.

    Directions to Bent Creek - Rice Pinnacle Parking Area
    From 191 Brevard Rd. turn on to Bent Creek Ranch Road, follow the sign to Lake Powhatan and stay left onto Wesley Branch Road. You will pass by the service and member entrance to the NC Arboretum on your left. You will enter the Bent Creek Experimental Forest. The first road on your right is Rice Pinnacle. Turn there to park.
