Introduction

Full time director of marketing for an organic cleaning product manufacturer, part time event coordinator for MTV, and very part time entrepreneur who is interested in becoming a very full time entrepreneur.

What title would you like: 'Developer' (want to get involved in a startup), 'Entrepreneur' (want to pitch a startup idea), 'Developer/Entrepreneur' (both)?

No

[Developer Question] What types of tech development do you do? (languages/frameworks used, software for web, mobile, server, etc.)

n/a

[Developer Question] What kinds of startups are you interested in? (I ask this question because we may try and focus some meetups on certain types of startups)

n/a

[Entrepreneur Question] Are you ready to pitch or will be ready within the next six months?

Yes, I'm owner of a website that is ready to grow and I want to educate myself MUCH more while meeting talented developers.

[Entrepreneur Question] We're looking for people who are ready to pitch a startup idea. Tell us a little bit about your idea and how much work has gone into it. (No need for sensitive details, just looking to get a sense of how developed the idea is)

I'm interested in the concept of pitching but I'd like to attend without pitching the first time if possible to get a feel for everything. We're building a more applicable and appropriate website for people looking for a rental home. It's being built more out necessity than anything. Our goal is to streamline the process and make it more enjoyable and profitable for landlords and tenants alike.

What Ricky Stewart is saying about this Meetup Group

Great! A huge asset for those of us who need to find qualified developers and don't know where to look! The only change I'd make would be a short (maybe 2 min) Q&A time after each presentation because sometimes a presentation isn't enough to really convey a concept. No complaints though!
