Re: Re: [Pitch-to-Developers] Need a couple more presenters!

Good conversations here folks. Thanks for taking the time.

I really like the idea of pitching the developers to help the startup build an MVP. I have a full time day job but am always looking for a side project that sounds cool. I would be open to taking equity or even a reduced rate for these side projects if they had a controlled scope that wouldn't ruin my relationship with my wife. :-)

Along these lines, could we change the format to "incent" the presenters to best present what they think their MVP is so that the developers could estimate in their heads what it would take to build that MVP? The presenters would need to be very concrete with the use cases that they wanted built out.

In the could of meetups that I've gone to, I've had a hard time parsing out what the MVP for the pitches is and it seemed more like a sales pitch to an investor.

I'd be up for putting together a talk for entrepreneurs one month at the meetup that would give them the basics of what it takes to specify an MVP that could help with this process.

If that talk went well and there was interest, I would also be interested in putting together a one day workshop to further the process.
