Caching and High Availability in AWS

I will be explaining implementation of the caching tier into both a single application environment, as well as , a multiple server farm environment. I will then proceed to explain the different types of HA options for AWS cloud and elaborate on how to scale these options.

I have put together a slide presentation that has been sent to Severin for review, and I will have a fact sheet to follow along for the day of the presentation.

I suggested Branding Brand for a weekday option because I think E. Carson St would be easier to access than Walnut St. However as I said to Severin I am open to either option. Thank you again to Severin and the group for this opportunity.

Thanks Phil this works, also thanks for posting the meeting 2 slides . I like the idea of github. I wanted to shares cfg files but I didn't have enough time. Whatever is easier to manage.

If people want we can keep the post the files up here :

    https://github.com/bearrito/pittsburgh-aws-meetup

If you aren't familiar with git you can download all the files as a zip file.
Or click through and view the files individually.

If you want to fix something then just fork it and submit a pull request.

Nice talk Patrick. I'm going to spend some time reviewing the slides.

If you send me the slides, I can create a github repo for this and future meetup slides.

If you aren't familar with git you can still just download items directly.

Thanks again for Branding Brand for hosting and for all of Phil and Norman's help tonight. Thanks to everyone for coming as well. I attempted to attach the pdf file but the upload option was only for photos so I will send it to Phil to see if he can attach it to the meetup. If not I will host the file up tomorrow.

Yeah I have the presentation completed and will have data sheets to go along with it. Hopefully we can get the numbers to show up and hopefully Branding Brand has the open space.
