We are an organization of Catholic mothers who work to build community in the Pittsburgh area. We hope to benefit one another in the work of virtue through friendship and mutual support. Our goal is that Pittsburgh Catholic Moms facilitates growth in the love, faith, courage, and knowledge necessary for building a family culture of holiness, for the benefit of our members, their spouses, and their children, to the glory of God.
We primarily do this by planning opportunities to spend time together, such as pray-and-playdates, discussion groups, nights out, family events, Masses, family outings, and other local events of interest. We, as individuals and a group, commit ourselves to fidelity to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church, and strive to always conduct ourselves in a spirit of charity, humility, mutual respect and kindness befitting followers of Christ.
Members are always welcome to submit ideas and feedback; however, group decisions will be made in accord with this statement and at the discretion of the leadership team.
While most of our members are among the flock of the Diocese of Pittsburgh, we are not affiliated with the Diocese on an institutional level.
