I'm going to have a big "Mondo" sign in front of...

    CalMac Studios
4735 Liberty Ave., Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15224

It's near the main stage where the music will be playing.

My family has a bunch of tables and chairs set up there every year.

I'll also bring some name tags!!!

    Little Italy Days
    Thursday, August 22nd

It was difficult to find other mondo Italiano members even though some tried to organize a meeting place. We didn't find any mondo mbers but had lots of fun

for a next event like this, we can/should decide earlier how and where to meet. at least everyone has reported having a decent time!

I was there with a friend who is also a Mondo Italiano member. We were there from about 2 to 5:30. I was wearing a name tag with my name and Mondo Italiano on it but never connected with anyone else. We had a nice time; enjoyed the day. We did the free tour at the History Center and got to play a couple of games of Bocce once the courts opened up. Great day!

I was here since the start (1p) as I didmt know what to expect and found no one from the group. I did ask a few people I thought might be but.... did enjoy the atmosphere, food, & even watched quits a bit of the bocce playing. Hope the next event is alot easier ESPECIALLY since I don't know anyone in this group & looking forward to actually meeting you all.

Re - just got back. I skimmed the messages and was under the impression there'd be someone with a sign reading "Meetup". i asked around but didnt find any meetup-ers. if you had gone, i hope you had a nice time. it was all right, not great. by the end of the day, im sure there'd be more of an electric atmosphere as the final four head to the courts! i might go back after 6pm. for now, im posting my unimpressive few photos.

I'm planning to be there around 2ish. I'm not playing in the tournament...just going to watch and eat! Maybe someone can stick a sign up somewhere. It's really hard to recognize people from photos, especially when folks use avatar-like photos.

Hi All, how do we find each other at this event? Viviana is the only one I know from this group and I think she's in Italy. I'd love to hang out with other people at this. Cheers, Linda

What time do you expect to be there?

Maybe we could wear a name tag with our name & Mondo Italiano on it and meet at the bocce courts that are for the spectators...just a suggestion. I am only going as a spectator; I'm not on a registered team playing in the tournament.

I've never really played either - been to an event where I was shown the basics, but I'm excited to come. Just joined the team - a little late but I wanted to make sure I was going to be able to really commit.

The bocce courts will be set up in the parking lot under the Veterans Bridge overpass, adjacent to the Hampton Inn at 13th & Smallman Streets across from the History Center.
