Designing Motion - The JavaScript Edition

The newest standards being implemented by the major browsers now allow you to do amazing things with images, graphics and animations on your web sites and web applications.  What used to be the realm of vector-based plugins can now be achieved with CSS3 and JavaScript.

We’ll talk about how to get the most out of your CSS3 and JavaScript animations by going beyond just start and end points and examining those ever important in-between parts. That’s where the real power of animation lies. We want elegant and meaningful animation, not obtrusive or meaningless fluff!

Would have liked to see more coding examples. Presenter stated at beginning that she wouldn't show coding examples, but since the presentation was only an hour, it would not have hurt anything to throw in some code samples.

Excellent, insightful presentation. @vlh did a great job of decomposing the issue of "animation" into its component considerations.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
