Thanks to everyone who came to the meet to greet at my studio. A few really good suggestions were proposed. Some painters would like to do a winter landscape paint out. I love painting winter so we'll do it when it isn't too terribly cold and there is snow. Also a few members wanted to know if we could do a meetup to paint at an interior location. Interesting idea? If you have a suggestion of a place where artists would be welcome please share it.

Hello All,

We also talked about doing a paint out on the inside of an industrial site, a factory or the like. Many impressionist artists painted scenes from hotels, working from upper floors painting the long boulevards and great urban scenes. So, if anyone has a connection with a realtor it would be ideal to get a space that was unoccupied and do a paint out from on high, The best vantage point would be a building on the corner of a block so that the long avenue composition could be painted, the front windows would provide " across the street scenes as well.".South side, Bloomfield , Lawrenceville , etc. would be great. The advantage of the inside looking out approach is obvious in a cold snowy winter's day.
