I have found something that I really think is worth a look. It is a second screen for your laptop. http://duoscreentech.com/

It is in the process of being funded with Kickstarter right now. Just take a look and see. I pledged at the $239.00. Cause I want one. Check it out

Nice introduction to Phabricator by Mike Riley of NoWait. Now, who wants the September meetup to happen? RSVP to it to get it announced to the group!

Well, it was last night at REVV Oakland. However, since only 2 people RSVP'd, it could not be announced. I'm trying to get the October one going; I put it under "Suggested Meetups."

Hey folks, Herb Gilliland, former regular of PHP Developers Meetup, and Director of Software at PieceMaker Technologies Inc., looking for PHP developers who want to do really cool stuff! I'll be there tomorrow, so if you are interested in getting a job with me, provide me your resume or tap me on the shoulder and I'll rap with you about yourself and what the opportunity could be. Cheers!

Unfortunately, I had to cancel my plans on attending, but I am in the market right now and looking to stop freelancing and really settle down. I've spent enough time avoiding making money to pursue my side interests, and it's time to get back in an office. But while I'm doing that, I'd still like to have my hand in philanthropy, so please take a look at the message I posted to the discussion board and share it with the other attendants. Hope to be speaking with you soon!

Hi, Mr. Riley. First, I am so glad people got this group going again. I met so many wonderful people through it, many with whom I am still in contact today, even though I was the first member to show up at the first meeting.

Secondly, I'd like to express my sincerest regrets in announcing that I will not be present tonight, as I had planned to be.

Which leads me to my final point of this message: I'd like to bring attention to a charity build party I am attempting to organize at Assemble with the assistance of The Neighborhood Learning Alliance and Pittsburgh MeshNet. We're looking for parts and participants. Laptops and flatscreens welcome (CRTs are too cumbersome). Completed computers will be donated to local disadvantaged school children. We also would like DD-WRT/OpenWRT capable routers for use with MeshNet - maybe even parabolic or Yagi antennae.

Please see the discussion on the message board. [/messages/boards/thread/46264592]

    Hope things go well tonight!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
