St. Patrick's Day Parade! Pittsburgh's Largest Parade! Kid Friendly!
This is an AMAZING PARADE! Pittsburgh's St. Patrick's Day Parade runs from 10am to 2pm.
Parking! I recommend that you park in Station Square parking lots and walk over to downtown and watch the parade from anywhere on the BLVD of the Allies!
There are Animals (Dogs, Horses and More!), Fire Trucks, Bands! and MORE!
Advice is bring water and folding camping chairs!
There are huge crowds. Kid friendly, but there will be some people drinking as a word of warning.
If you want to meetup, meet at Art Institute by the Dinosaur at 9am to 9:05am and the parade starts at 10am! Even though it's not hosted, just look for people at the base who are looking around for others and ask them if they are from the meetup (this meetup will be posted by Pittsburgh Social Club and Free and Almost Free meetups, so there WILL be people at the Dinosaur! (both events are non-hosted).
This is a non-hosted event (this is an informative post about an awesome free event!) but it IS ONE OF THE BEST PARADES PITTSBURGH HAS! So enjoy!
(The reason why this is non-hosted is this is one of the best hidden secrets about Pittsburgh and I am letting you know about it, I would have hosted this but I have a smaller event at the parade that can only handle a limited amount of people, so i (frank the admin, apologize).
