great event; met some fun, sexy people

They're expecting a great crowd (1,000+ people) for tonight's Dirty Ball where guests will experience a one-of-kind transformation of a South Side warehouse with over 25,000 square feet of dance performances, stages, intriguing games, lights, speakers, art installations, interactivities, pirates, robots, food & drinks, and with a few surprises thrown in the mix.

Please arrive early to make it easier to park, save time getting into The Dirty Ball, and finding other Meetup members.

I'll be wearing something easy to spot -- an off-white sport coat, dark red shirt with beige stripe, dark pants, and glasses.

I'll come out before 8 PM to see if I can spot anyone as they open the regular doors. I'll have a print out of the Meetup attendees.

We'll initially meet/greet from 8-8:30 PM at the entrance to the Velvet Lounge and then you can check out all the unique spaces and performances inside The Dirty Ball.

Of course, it is fine if you bring friends and experience The Dirty Ball on your own.

It is also recommended that you buy your ticket in advance instead of waiting at the door. There is a chance this could sell out and it only takes a couple minutes to buy in advance via ShowClix/AttackTheatre link
      http://www.attackthea... or http://www.showclix.c...

At a certain point this afternoon, these online links will close. Tickets should be available at the door (unless it sells out in advance) so again this is another reason to be early.

We're not asking Meetup members to hang around the entrance to the Velvet Lounge any longer than 8-8:30 PM (to wait for others) especially when there is so much to enjoy where people go off on their own or in smaller groups.

But if you can't make it on time, just look for me throughout the night and introduce yourself. I'll be wearing something easy to spot -- off-white sport coat, dark red shirt with beige stripe, dark pants, and glasses.

Hope everyone is looking forward to The Dirty Ball on Saturday night. If you've never been before, it is unlike anything else in the city or maybe even the country. And they'll be plenty of new surprises for this year as they completely transform a warehouse in the South Side.
