Restorative Yoga for Pregnant and New Mothers

Through the comfortable, supported postures of Restorative Yoga, we'll drop into a deep state of physiological relaxation that many women find to be helpful in increasing mental, emotional and physical comfort throughout their pregnancies and into their postpartum period.

By quieting the nervous system's fight or flight response and stimulating the relaxation response, we can surrender into a state into a state of mindful connection and ease where the body opens more efficiently, comfortably and healthfully. Within this state, women may find it easier to draw on their primal birthing resources during pregnancy; and remain more connected to their babies, partners and their internal power.

Restorative Yoga provides space to come back to center, connect more deeply with yourself and your baby, and restores your body through its plethora of changes.

For new mothers, the stillness of Restorative Yoga will be your refuge from the never-ending demand of new motherhood. It will help you find peace and serenity.
