OK, It is exactly what I thought. Who are the "Masters"?
    Are you channeling an entity?

The Masters have been called many names: the Great Mahatmas, the Masters of Wisdom, the Society of the Illumined Minds, the Great White Brotherhood, to name a few. The are men and women who have gone ahead of us on the evolutionary journey of consciousness - so far in fact, that they are no longer governed by the laws of karma or rebirth. They have learned everything there is to learn on our planet. And yet, after this long cycle of learning these enlightened Ones make a conscious choice to remain with our Earth's scheme to guide and inspire us. Because what they have achieved in perfection still lies as a goal for most of us. For thousands of years in the East, the existence of the Masters has been commonplace. Here in the West, they have been written about by several, including Helena Blavatsky, Alice Bailey and most currently Benjamin Creme. Participating in Transmission Meditation we are working 'cooperatively' with the Masters.

There is no channeling of entities that occurs during Transmission Meditation. Benjamin Creme states that there are never messages given to anyone doing Transmission Meditation, and that has been my own experience. Although working on a stronger connection with our higher selves or guides is important, Transmission is not the place to seek individual guidance, channeling of personal messages or contact with guides, etc. In this service practice, the Masters are only looking for those who are willing to serve by giving themselves up for the 'stepping down' of these energies. And so we set personal things aside for other times outside Transmission.

What is or what does "step down"energy do?

And so, Trransmission Meditation groups are formed to invoke these spiritual energies, which pass through our chakras. As they do, these energies are 'stepped down' to a lower rate of vibration which makes them more available for more people. A simple analogy would be using a transformer toconvert 220 volts into 110 volts to power a simple appliance. Once these energies pass through the chakras of the group members, the Masters then redirect them out in the world where They know they are needed. The group does not direct the energies, for the Masters, in their enlightened state, have a much broader view of planetary need and know best where specific energies are needed most.

What does 'step down' energy do? According to Benjamin Creme, author of Transmission: A Meditation for the New Age, says there is no end to the usefulness of these stepped-down energies. They could be directed into the world to "overt war or to create certain conditions" These energies are also directed to the millions of men and women who work toward the betterment of our world in every field of human endeavor - political, economic, social, religious and so on. By doing Transmission Meditation we 'energetically' strengthen the hands of these men and women of goodwill.
