Have you ever wondered how food becomes shelf stable? Come join the Gardens of Millvale on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at the Millvale Community Center for a class on home preserving and canning. Various ways of preserving from drying to freezing will be covered as well as batch salsa making and canning. Each participant will receive a great packet of information and guidelines for safe food preserving at home, great homemade snacks, as well as a pint of salsa that is made in the class from locally sourced produce!
Stephanie Davis, an aspiring Chef currently working at Eleven will be teaching the class from 11-1 Sunday August 31, 2014 at the Millvale Community center.
