We've been working on a lot of good stuff to get ready for the
upcoming season and the meeting on the 29th. Here's a quick update.
- Expect the meetup site to get overhauled; possibly tomorrow.
- We're focusing our programs more for people who aren't quite sure
what we're doing. (once we figure it out haha)
- We've been working on our content for the meeting. Trying to make
it as interactive and quick as possible. We don't want to waste your
I want to mention how important you guys & girls are to making this
happen. We want the group to grow organically. The best way to make
sure our events and info meet your needs is to take part in planning
them. At the meeting we'll be calling for interest in a few different
areas of managing this group. We'll also be asking members to
volunteer as "community garden leaders." If you have any special
experience or skills (not just gardening!!), to offer, get in touch
with me at the meeting or via email.
Overall, everything's coming together. Thanks to everyone who has
offered to help!
p.s. See you January 29th @ Clapp Hall on Pitt Campus. It's going to
be a great day for PGE to sprout its roots in the Burgh!
Don't hesitate to comment or contact. We definitely need group
participation to make this work!
