First Meeting Thoughts - Quality not Quantity

Hey All,

We had an awesome turnout on Monday. (eat it entrepreneur meetup group! haha). Anyways, out of 63 members we had 29 people at the meeting. Great.

I have a few thoughts that I wanted to share with everyone concerning the meeting. Please comment (even if you didn't show up).

1. Networking - Should we have taken some time and let everyone introduce themselves? I think most people made some solid contacts. The info we got from the questionnaires was great. Any ideas?

2. Teams - Teams are just one way to get involved, and joining a team doesn't mean you're committed to anything. They can be as relaxed as just chatting about gardening with your neighbor once a week. How much you get out of it is up to you.

3. The Website - is going to be great. We'll email everyone when it's ready to start populating it with our garden ideas and pictures!

4. Call for Teachers - If you have experience on any food-related topics. Let us know because we're developing a few workshops and classes to hold this season. So far we've had interest in about 4 classes. Should be fun.

Overall, I'm satisfied and ready to get some more stuff done. Thanks so much for coming. We'll schedule some new stuff soon. Contact us anytime here or at [address removed]
