Penn Twp Dog Park

July Pug Meet up at new dog park at Penn Twp municipal park. This park is located in Westmoreland County and is convenient for our friends who live there.

Beautiful fenced in area for dogs...shaded with some trees and seating area.

The new dog park has separate small breed and large breed areas. All dogs must display a current license, vaccination tag and ID tag. Dogs must be under control of an adult 18 years of age or older and there is a limit of two dogs per handler. Handlers must possess a leash at all times while in the off-leash area and dogs must be leashed to enter and exit the park. Dog waste must be collected by the handler and placed in the provided receptacles. Food and dog treats are not permitted in the off-leash areas. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. We do not recommend that you bring small children or infants into the dog park for safety reasons. Handlers must be present with their dog(s) and keep them under visual and voice control at all times.

Yes I agree! I think some people were worries if was too far for them, but well worth any drive. Side note, my brother said your dad was the best, most intelligent teacher at mp! He liked him very much.

The dog park seeds to be clean and shaded and very secluded from rest of park and noise which was nice,. A few people and their pugs went and my Sophie had fun! Very nice. Should try and get work our and get a larger group together again there!

I have extra leashes. You should try and bring them! They don't need a leash inside dog fenced in park.

At Frick park it was very hot midday and another person asked to have these events earlier for the pugs when it is not too hot. To the people going and interested should we change the time to 10:00 or 10:30? What do you all think?

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
