The Mission:

To encourage people in Naperville and surrounding areas to try a peaceful, plant-based, VEGAN lifestyle.

Where?

MeetUps are mainly held at Kimberly Steele Studio at 625 East Ogden Avenue in north Naperville, Illinois.  Directions: http://kimberlysteelemusic.com/location

The MeetUps:

We have lots of fun in Plant-Powered Naperville!  Here are just a few of PPN's events:

-Movie screenings
-Vegan potlucks
-Food demos
-Cooking and food prep classes
-Grocery store expeditions
-Restaurant outings
-Holiday celebrations

I am a Dirt Cheap Vegan on a music teacher's salary.  Thinking of other demi-poor people like me made me decide this group is free in general.  Donations are always very heartily appreciated at my PayPal:

Potlucks are free.  Cooking classes carry a small fee to help cover MeetUp's dues of $144.00 a year and the always-increasing cost of rent, food, and equipment.

Please keep in mind this is not a group for dating/mating, nor is it an "opportunity" to sell a product or service.  Kimberly Steele reserves the right to block and ban any person who does not respect Plant Powered Naperville's mission and dynamic.

This group is organized by Kimberly Steele, vegan since July 26, 2010, music teacher, and author of seven popular novels and the I Love Music Theory Method for Guitar.  Please visit http://kimberlysteelemusic.com/ for more about the Studio and detailed directions on how to get here.

Bill

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
