London Playtest weekday meetup

The 7th weekday meetup for the London Playtest UK group will be on Monday 11th August from 6pm in the Jugged Hare, Victoria.

If you've designed a game, bring it along and give it a play or just enjoy playing other people's prototypes in a friendly and constructive atmosphere.

Please feel free to add details of your game in the comments section below. As the weekday meetup is less structured than the weekend meetup, it might be more useful for very early prototypes and concepts as well as full game tests. As usual the formula will be playtested and tweaks made along the way.

(Please note that as a condition of our use of the Jugged Hare, only food and drink bought at the pub can be consumed on the premises.)

List of Prototypes to be playtested (tbc):

Escape Pod (Andrew Rowse)

Hey guys, I'm doing my Master's in Computer Games Technology and currently doing my dissertation where I'm making a three player co-operative game.
I have yet to actually try this version with more than two people so it would be great to do something like this, the only problem is that it requires three separate machines because you're not meant to see what the other players can see!
So basically, if I upload the game to my website, would there be at least two others with laptops so we could try it? Or should I save myself the effort and just come along to try other people's games?
    Thanks!

I've only just made it back to London from an interview so I'll try for a later meetup.

Not going to make it this evening. I'll be along for some of Sunday, though. Try not to have too much fun without me.

First time attendee, hoping to make it down as long as work doesn't overrun.

Just had surgery (now I look like Jennifer Love-Hewitt!), but hoping to be fit enough to make this one. I'll bring Escape Pod, which has benefited greatly from suggestions made at the last meetup it attended, but still feels a little clunky when it comes to scoring. I don't really look like Jennifer Love-Hewitt.

Once again its a definite maybe, this time I'll try not to get distracted and remember to come. I'll even try to bring a game...a wargame of course!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
