In term of 'modern board games' this would be Diplomacy and Britania around 1990, although I did some RPG when I was younger, primarily 'present day' settings as I'm not fond of fantasy in general (but theme does not matter to me as long as game is good).
2 player this would be Tigris and Euphrates. 4+ this would be In The Year of the Dragon, although in practice I seldom play 'heavy' games as my playing groups prefer lighter games. At that end of the spectrum I strongly dislike 'dice games', but enjoy 'social deduction' games a lot.
I was allowed to playtest my current game design at UK Games Expo 2014 and while a year in development I still feel feedback is useful. I also believe I can help others improving their games (this is albeit in a different field my day job in fact).
I'm a 40 year old male born Belgian, living in the UK since 1997. My background is in desktop publishing and currently working in quality assurance of music software.
Excellent atmosphere and nice people!
