What is your earliest gaming memory?

Probably playing Monopoly when I was 7 or 8, but as for Eurogaming it was probably playing Settlers of Catan when I was 11 or 12. I thought it was pretty amazing, but I could only play it when I went to my friend's house!

Is there a favourite game you like to play?

Anything by Stefan Feld basically: Macao, Castles of Burgundy, Notre Dame, Trajan - I'm happy to play any of them.

What most interests you about the group?

Playtesting is one of the most, if not the most, important parts in designing games. Being able to test your designs with others is incredibly valuable. And testing with other designers is even more valuable. It's a great group of people, and I get a lot out of playtesting with the group.

Introduction

My name is Matthew Dunstan, and I'm a research scientist at the University of Cambridge. I have had a number of games published, with the most recent being Costa Rica from Mayfair/Lookout Games in June 2016.
