Phil Libin will talk about his experience with his startup and how he went through intense situation with his investment round. I highly suggest startups to hear this out.

    Thanks Shobeir for organizing this. It was interesting to hear that Phil believes & has benefited from not doing any competitive analysis. That's good. However, in my experience, whether you are starting up or a billion $ company, keeping an eye on your competition (new & old, direct & indirect) provides very valuable inputs to help you refine your product & business strategy/direction. It's often avoided - which is surprising given the potential benefits vs. the low cost of getting it done!
