I don't know about you, but the holidays are a stressful time for a lot of people... so I thought maybe some of you might welcome the chance to party down and check out this fairly new club in the Northland, Neon Wild.
Neon Wild is a Retro Dance Club. DJ will be playing 80's, 90's and today's music. It has a very large dance floor and even a section where you can try out a game of Twister!! (I don't think I'll be attempting that in a skirt, but might be fun to watch others!) No Cover Charge and Drink Specials $5 Bombs. They do not serve food, but mentioned a place to eat next door if you need to grab a bite before hitting the dance floor. They say the crowd usually runs from the 20's to 50's age range. You can check out their web site here:
Feel free to bring friends and family (over 21), for fun night out at Neon Wild!
[From the Neon Wild website] Saturday night is The Ultimate Dance Party!!
Jump back! All the way back to the 80's, or ease back just a decade or two to recent retro dance from the 90's and today's top 40 every Saturday night at Neon Wild! DJ Rule will light it up starting when the doors open at 8:00 and will outlast most of you until 3:00 a.m! It's not just the music either! The mood hits when you are thrust into the frenzy of black light colors, purple rain machine, snow machine if the dance floor weather calls for it, and THE icons that mark the decades of dance, watching over the dance floor, neon-wild-style on the walls.
The beats of "Rock & Rule" will force you to the dance floor and wear you out, so the pool table, stools, chairs, tables and a mile of bar space leave room to chill and slam back a $5 Bomb or two!
If you have never been, you are missing out! If you always go, don't miss Saturdays at Neon Wild!!
Directions: .... if you click on link for map it will show location. This does mapquest with no problems and is easy to find with plenty of parking. I can only describe if your coming from the South it's like your heading to the Isle of Capri on I-35/I 29 North but go an exit further to the 16th Avenue exit then take a left. Then jog over to 18th Street heading west and you'll run into it. If it helps to know it's around the corner from Denim and Diamonds. Just slightly out of the downtown area.
