SHORT FILM CHALLENGE UPDATE

This meeting will have two parts:

1) To continue developing the short film idea we came up with last time. Members will discuss any progress they've made and how to move forward with the project.

2) To discuss members' own ideas and projects. We'll see how we can help get them made.

Again meet in the foyer of the National Theatre, South Bank, the seating when you enter the building, in front of the cafe/bar (for venue information click here).

It was a good experience, the organiser was very friendly, open and made every effort to listen to what everybody wanted to say, the short film challenge is for people already in full-time employment or working part-time, the organiser understands other peoples needs and commitments, this project is for people who would like to get involved in film making and would suit both a enthusiast or a professional looking to meet new friends with a shared interest. - In this meeting we talked about a script idea, a simple concept for an actor and actress, the location would be outdoors and free to use by the public.

    Hi,
I probably won't get a chance to print a sign. We'll be okay though, look for the friendly bunch of filmmakers sitting in the middle!

Hi Farazi, I've invited my friend Tia, hopeful she'll come directly after work if I just give her reminder.

Will you have a table top sign for tomorrow? Go into the organiser controls and you print one off easy, I'm defiantly coming so I hope to see you there, Luke

Can't beat the South Bank Centre, such a central location to meet up and talk about films...

I am interested to hear about the short film idea you guys are working on, how many people are already involved and what I could I take part in?

I've quite bit of experience of putting a team together myself, I was the organiser of WLFM a meet up group and my short film can be watched on vimeo: http://vimeo.com/39864399 [Familiar Strangers] - sorry I haven't got anything to play it on in meeting on Tuesday, but its on-line to watch.
