To share knowledge, perhaps brainstorm ideas or do a collaborative project on your free time. I'm keen on the concept of learning through trial and error. As well as taking risks and not being shy about filming scenes with people in it (due to fear of legalities).
I am currently involved in the commercial side of things. My specialty lies in compositing, 3D and animation. It is basically my job and I've been very busy working as a freelance at different companies in London. The most notable filming experience I had was in Mumbai, India where we ran around the city with 5D's and Red's shooting footage on which we composited the Mtv logo, which was constructed in 3D out of raw materials found in the shots. I really enjoyed the process of collecting the beauty shots and would like to explore integrating stories and more of a human touch to my work rather then just corporate.
I'm fairly open but am definitely a fan of radical styles of filmography. A very memorable movie for me was Old Boy a film from korea and Memento, . I thought some of the scenes were really well done and shot/lit beautifully. But I also have an appreciation for documentaries, mocumentaries, art films. I like good story telling. I wouldn't be interested in helping someone trying to push the limits on horror movies like that 'human centipede' guy.
I am a Canadian Graphic Designer, mainly specialising in animation. I'm looking to get more involved in the filming side of things. I recently purchased a camera and am looking for similar people that want to make cool stories and imagery.
