What's your role in political technology – hard code programmer, analyst, strategist, jack of all trades?

Strategist and analyst. (Former programmer and manager of programmers.)

Are you part of a group (501c, PAC, campaign) or are you a consultant? What’s the name of your group?

I am an independent consultant.

What’s your platform or development stack of choice. Microsoft, iOS, Android, Linux or something more exotic?

Doesn't matter to me. Exotic is usually risky, business-wise.

Name three topics you would like to see discussed at a Meetup?

1. Finding the balance of opt-in/ui/training that optimizes success by reducing the creepiness of knowing more about your target than they think you should know. 2. Finding coders who are happy to develop in the legal environment that we have today, rather than the legal environment that would be in place if they were in charge. 3. Something I've never thought much about.

What's you ideal venue for a meetup? Hopping bar scene, quiet coffee shop, office conference room?

Sadly, I am old enough that I much prefer a place where I can hear what people are saying without too much strain. And I'm still unsure why hopping = cacophonous. It just does.
