What a historic night, from President Obama's return to the White House (I'm going to DC for the inauguration in January!) plus US Senate seat gains to retain a majority, taking back our state senate and house of representatives, defeat of the two amendments. Couldn't be any happier..well, maybe, if Bachman had been defeated.
Regrettably, I missed my PALLS. They were gone by the time I arrived at 10:30 after completing my election judge duties in St. Louis Park. I managed to find thousands of other Dems to celebrate with, tho.... lots of hugs, two glasses of wine, and the fun continued into the wee hours of the a.m.

    Hey, fellow PALLS!
Allow me the liberty to share a piece I wrote that is politically relevant three days before the election. A poem I wrote, "Ode to ALEC," as it relates to the voter restriction amendment, is published in the online TC Daily Planet. It includes an intro to ALEC and a video of an interview that was held w/my state senator, Steve Simon, about the amendment and why one should vote No.
Check it out if you like, and leave a comment. Much appreciated.
