Winner Winner Chicken Dinner

  • October 2, 2013 · 7:00 PM

With wins under their belt, both off the field and on, our intrepid group looks forward to new challenges. Having ruined the Tudbury's tournament before it even started, it is looking like our group has the world at its fingertips. However, behind the scenes pieces in the game of thrones are moving. As to who is moving them, and as to why are as yet unknown. What will be the response of the Tudbury's humilation? Where is Boros, and his pirate friends? Who are they looking for? Just what is the Blackfish's mission to Sunspear? Will Lord Beaver survive the campaign? Will the King survive his captivity? And most importantly of all, will the bandit problem ever be solved?

Hey, I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but: is this campaign full up on players?

I really want to directly free the slaves in a way that lets us keep power over any of them who are grateful. I'm thinking we need to wipe out the Tudburrys and then focus on "ocean power". We will need to save up a ton of wealth and power to afford the free slaves and the navy that will be our best chance at taking them. As for a third party I suspect the Grayjoys but if they aren't involved they have the naval power we need (unless it's to close to their rebellion being crushed...I wonder if that's happened yet...) Either we enlist the Ironmen as allies or manipulate them. They want independence so we either use them, the Baratheons, or the royal navy asallies/pawns. I'm totally getting into the idea of turning into a house focused on piracy and naval power! If we lose we could just sail away from Westeros when needed!

Oh ya, I'm back. I think we can probably take care of the dothraki the american way, give them blankets laced with a disease they have no natural immunity to. Then we can actually use the grasslands for feeding the huge herds of suddenly unowned horses we now have....

Ya, is it really a bandit problem if its just our troops stealing from their own homes like some kind of L.A. Riot? Do we really have to care about them doing that.. we should start taxing loot, then people will be paying us taxes on their own property over and over again...

I've forgiven dad for being an ass... For now... I'm going to focus my energy on The Blackfish and then the sword, slaves, and pirates. I wonder what our army will look like with 5k freed elite ex-slave infantry...I'm thinking pretty good. Maybe we could use them to take the throne ourselves. Nefarious duo please feel free to plan this for me!

Even if we only got the infantry, and didn't wind up using it, we'd wind up with some strong chips to put on the board later. Might be especially valuable if we can get some other reward from the Martell's or others for disrupting Boros. Remember, get paid early and get paid often for the same job.

If we take the enemies ships while hes on land, dosn't that just leave our lands with no one in them because were on his ships? Good plan, as long as we don't ever need to go home again. Not that our lands are really a home to anyone at this point anyways...
