Polycrafters: Those of us who aren’t satisfied by just one craft!

I have been using Meetup.com/Polycrafters but am finding that I want to reach a more DIY crowd and am  taking this group down in lieu of posting events, ideas, tutorials- basically a lot more information, images, and content atPolycrafters.org!  Please join me at the new site and become a registered user: it's free!

Let me introduce myself and my purpose:

I am Jacki- The Polycrafter.  I like DIY, crafts, and generally making things instead of buying them.  I want to share projects with you and hold get-togethers for crafting and sharing!

I am 29 and live in Portland Oregon with my husband and dog.   My day job involves being customer service lead for Portland Parks & Recreation- the Best Park System in the Nation!

My current passions are Knitting (Shawlettes,scarfs, hats, socks, and other fun projects), Scrapbooking (I started with my wedding album- eek!), Soap making (cold process & Hot process- liquid), homebrewing beer (Mmmm-beer), and pinterest(who isn't addicted to this site)!

I look forward to sharing many ideas, projects, and crafty gatherings with you at Polycrafters.org!
