In light of recent Meetups and an increasing number of people who are "No Show", I wanted to send out a plea and a reminder to extend your fellow crafters a common courtesy: Please-out of respect for your fellow members and your leaders - Please update your RSVP if your plans change. If something comes up, you have to work late, don't feel well, or are simply not able to go last minute..... Post a comment; send me an email; or text/call! This allows the Host to adjust plans and make the best Meetup possible for all involved! This also applies if you are on the wait list. Remember while you are on a wait list to check your email often in the days and hours leading up to the event. If you learn that you will not be able to attend, please remove yourself from the wait list- Otherwise the host will assume you are coming if as space becomes available.
Specifically, there were more "No Show"' than attendees last night at our learn to Knit Class! So, I have to ask... What happened last night? (Thank you to the one individual who posted a comment and a few people who updated their RSVP's as the event was happening. I really appreciate it.)
As Always, let me know if you have questions or concerns (and I would still love to know if I missed something big- maybe an accident?)
