Keine Sorge, Lukas: Es wird bald andere Treffen geben :-)
Ok. I am at the MÜnz. No one here. Where is everyone?
Ok, I should have checked the date. :)
Poor you! :(

I attended several meetups at Starbucks and they all went well… Still, the mingle thing is a good idea! Therefore, I have booked a corner for about twenty people at Münz.
See you there!
It's actually full of places around Paradeplatz as you mention.Starbucks is easier to mingle maybe in the floor -1.

Hi isn't there another venue in Zurich besides Talacker , la stanza or Starbucks ;-)
My experience of the German table at Starbucks Limmatquai is appalling!
You are stuck for two hours in front of one person only: Just imagine he would like to practice his Swahili and I want to improve my Finnish! Just imagine I want to practice my catalan on top?
May I suggest you choose a place where people can mingle instead, eat proper food and drink a good glass of wine. It will untie tongues for sure! :)))
D-Vino on Limmatplatz is such a place, but there are thousands others for sure.
I would be happy to attend if there is another gathering later in the summer!
Dear Polyglots, Why not somewhere else? At bad Utoquai for example or a bar with some character? That said I agree it is a practical meeting place;) CiaoANy ideas? As Elisabeth suggests, Stanza, I don't know that place...
Maybe polyglots have to meet in multinational coffee places, but since I am already on holiday with my family I don't mind ;)I would however like to suggest a local café, f.ex. Stanza near Paradeplatz. :)

just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
