The monthly hikes continue in June. For some fresh air and exercise, join us for a 5.8-mile hike around, up, and then down Kennesaw Mountain. Oh, it is Father's Day, so call your Dad too!
This route, recently popularized by John Crow, builds gradually at first but then has some good inclines. It is mostly shaded, with nice forest scenery.
We consider this a moderately difficult hike because of the inclines and the steady pace that the group tends to have so if you are a beginner then might look for other hikes, especially considering the warm temperatures.
Please wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water.
Hope to see you there.
