This is a new group!

Despite the name, this meetup group is much more about getting out and meeting new people, and discovering new places, trying new stuff, etc. Finding locations that are different and fun is our second priority -- but we almost always make sure the venue serves beer.

We are also open to travel upto 30 minutes in/around Lowell, though we will try to keep most events local in town.

Please join us, even if you don't care for pool or darts -- or even beer. You'll be sure to make some new friends, regardless. If you do intend to play pool, fear not for your skill level, as we are mostly amateurs. All skill levels are welcome, of course.

We try to keep things interesting by visiting interesting places and events all across town, though we usually stay within areas easily accessible by public transportation. Please let us know if you have any suggestions for venues we might visit in the future!

Our activities are organized by member volunteers like you, called Asst. Organizers. The organizers will do their best at these events to introduce you to the whole group. We encourage you to be open to being introduced to others and make the most of the event. Most seem to enjoy themselves because they were introduced, and the event or activity was just a nice addition. Josh does not organize all of our events or activities. We also accept suggestions for future events. We also encourage you to organize events on your own with help from other organizers.

Being a small group, some of the events are done at short notice directly through emails, between the organizers and the members.
