Australian Web Awards

Bret T.
Perth, AU
Post #: 20
Now open! And there are state awards this year so more chances to win.

Also, two new categories: Political and Social Media.

How many hours did you invest in building that spectacular web site/campaign? Takes a couple of minutes to enter the comp with the potential for industry kudos and brownie points with clients.

The Australian Web Awards are run by the Australian Web Industry Association, the very same organisation that runs Port80. You don't have to be an AWIA member to enter, but you get a discount if you are. Entry criteria and categories at the web awards site.

Exec Summary:

We're doing a black tie event on October 3rd.

The national event (not black tie) will be held on October 24th in Sydney. It's the Thursday night of the Web Directions conference and follows their reception.

Entries close Aug 16th. Don't leave it til the last week for goodness sake.
