I'm so sorry I didn't get to attend. We've been having a lot of health issues at my house, and something cropped up at the last moment. I'm crossing digits that I'll get to join in next time-- sounds like a good time was had by all!

A good start and very helpful even when your work gets pounded on.

Hi everybody, Anthony (husband) and I were at Lake Wier for a couple of days. I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving! Will look forward to meeting everyone on the 11th at 7:30. Call me at[masked] and I will give out the address. Feel free to bring a friend. If we talk I can get a realistic head count. Would it be hokey to start off the meeting with a "shared" paragraph on their events of Thanksgiving as an ice breaker? I don't mean the soapy "I want world piece/peace" (LOL) But an ice breaker on whatever we all did this past or other past Thanksgivings. I tend to be funny, but it might be a nice way to "meet" on fresh ground. What say the group? Charen

Your house sounds great. I am also in favor of relaxed and zero costs. The "needs a location" on this page was just making me think we still needed a location. :)

Hi there, Charen here. We thought the first meetings could be at my house in Port Charlotte. This way costs could be "0" and it could be relaxed. I am in the Murdock area on Yorkshire St. Also, since we are so small, it would be more relaxed at the house. (I hate spending $ 6 for a glass of wine.) Amanda, Mr. Vampire could be changed back at any time, of course by his wife. But you just can't be a vampire for years without some amount of boredom. What an opportunity to be a vampire in a mortal's body with this hot wife who teases you about "changing you back". It adds to the sexual tension and opens other possibilities in their lives. It is a comedy, not to mention, there would not be a book. Think of all the things he has to relearn in a new modern world. What delicious fun!

Are we supposed to suggest locations? Is there a room in one of the Port Charlotte libraries we could use?
