Are you interested in DIY biology/biohacking/biotech and would love to join a community of like-minded members who discuss these topics and collaborate on projects in the general Portland area? If so, you are in the right place. I foresee a growing and evolving 'DIYBio' group that can get together to talk DIY biology, develop projects, build/hack lab equipment, and educate each other in an open, facilitative environment. Young or old, your imagination matters. With enough momentum, I would like to setup a community lab where the community can experiment with biology. If you believe that biology should be accessible to EVERYONE equally; know anything about biology (DNA, microbiology), engineering, biotech; want to learn about these things; love to create; or have a wild imagination, lets get together and talk. Viva La Bio!
