Morning Coffee Break

Monument Square, Portland
In the morning, bicycle commuters can stop by Monument Square in downtown Portland from 7 to 9am for coffee and snacks, mechanical support and safe bicycle commuting tips.
John Brooking will be on the WMPG show Shaken and Stirred,
speaking with DJ Adira about bike stuff between sets,
from 10:30 AM to Noon.
Eastern Trail Ride
As part of its national meeting, the East Coast Greenway is also leading a 31-mile ride of the Eastern Trail from Kennebunk to South Portland, timed to return for the Bike to Work Day event. Bus or shuttle service is being provided for Portland cyclists who don't want to ride an entire 62-mile round trip, leaving from Bug Light Park at 10:30 AM. The ride from Kennebunk will start at Noon. Registration is required, and includes lunch. For more information about the ride, and to register, click here.
Cyclists who would like to ride 62 miles there and back from Portland, should meet at the southern end of the Casco Bay Bridge at 9:45 AM to depart.

You have ridden your bike to work (or even if not), now enjoy a short ride on your bike...
- over the Casco Bay Bridge,

- ride the Greenbelt
to one of Portland Harbor's most beautiful parks, Bug Light Park, to celebrate National Bike-to-Work Day with other bicycle transportation users.
This event is sponsored jointly by the Bicycle Coalition of Maine, the East Coast Greenway, and the City of South Portland.
Girls and Gears! at Gorham Bike & Ski
There will be a fashion show hosted by the famous Lori Voornas, from WJBQ! You know there will be plenty of surprises during the evening & great deals!
Iinvite your cycling girlfriends and enjoy massages, giveaways and special pricing on women's items purchased that night.
There will also be a raffle and you need to be present to win! So, get ready for a great night! The wine is on us!
