i like biking and i need exercise, i believe reducing dependence on gasoline has to start in little steps--so what can be better than biking to work. Being part of any group can motivate onself and remind me that I am not alone in my interests.

I don't need a mentor right now but thank you for not laughing too loud at my brightly lit bike with many leds shining in all directions
South Portland near highland av and anthoine streets TO/FROM Maine medical Center Bramhall Street. miles? unsure, 3 to 4 miles

john b left a card on my bike so i feel welcomed already.
Cool, Paul! I always wonder whether all the cards I leave on bikes are actually doing anything, but every once in a while, it works! Although I'm not a MMC employee, I sing and play piano for the Healing Arts Chorus that you sponsor, so I'm there most Tuesday nights, with my bike. For "tips on surviving amongst the cars", http://www.bikexprt.com/streetsmarts/... is a good resource. Also see our "About" pages, participate in our message boards, etc. Hope to see you around sometime!
