All-season rider in Portland and in the Midcoast. With studded snowtires and snowmobile gloves, plus the odd ski mask and earflap I love to huff-a-puff around town in the freeze. Still looking forward to taking on a frozen lake on the bike.

Thanks for the support, Steve. We probably won't make it, but it's been good to mount the effort. Maybe see you in another ride this winter? (Not that I'm encouraging you to go against a doctor's advice or anything...)
Glad you liked the ride, Steve. We all thought it was great, too. For glasses fogging up, I've had the best success just wearing something that I can pull down under my chin when I slow down and stop, which is when it seems worst, then put back up when I attain cruising speed. And I'm also a big fan of mittens. My fingers are long and thin, and I have yet to find gloves that really do the trick at sub-freezing temps. See you around!
Thank you for making the inaugural Parking Ban Alleycat a HUGE SUCCESS!
Hi, Steve! Welcome to the group! I'm impressed by your Manhattan riding cred; I've only ever ridden here in Portland. I hope I'll see you at the Winter Riding meeting on the 12th. Be sure to bring some of your winter clothing and lights for show and tell!
