    It might be in the "door zone" but it's a damn sight better than it used to be. I use it every day without incident. You're still able to keep your 3 feet from parked cars (while passing cars, subsequently, are able to keep 3 feet from you) within this ample bike lane. Celebrate it, don't nit pick.

    Three feet from parked cars is not enough. Subsequent pictures and the diagram following them show the car door pictured sticks 3'7" out from the car (that's perpendicular, not the actual door length, which is at an angle), and some doors are even longer, notably on two-car models.
