Songwriting is one of the most enjoyable, most frustrating, and most rewarding aspects of music.
Whether you’ve been writing for years, or have never written a tune before in your life, this 3-part songwriting workshop series will help you bear down on those aspects of songwriting that are eluding you.
Each week we’ll be discussing different aspects of songwriting, song structure, the creative process, and the work involved in moving your song from the idea stage to the finished product. Each week’s workshop moves the song to a different stage of development, and participants are encouraged to work alongside their fellow attendees, using their own songs as examples.
At the end of this 3-part series, you’ll have walked your song through the various developmental stages, and you’ll be ready to polish it up for presentation on a special night at Wolf Den. We’ll be using our fellow participants as a ‘sounding board’ throughout the process, listening to their advice and having them help guide our creative endeavors.
Drop in for only a single night, or participate in all three and move your song throughout the stages of development until you’re ready to present it to the world.
No experience necessary.
