Yes, and I like to sing harmony
mostly mandolin, mediocre guitar, shaker.

Diverse group of people who come together to create a great time.
Jory, Welcome to Uniquely Portland! Our tours are a bit like a "show and tell" of Portland history and architecture in the "outdoor classroom." Do join us!
Hi Jory, thanks for joining Education Innovation. Personally, I am definitely interested in early childhood education. My training, and probably my specialty, was with high-school students, but now my work is with all ages.
And it seems like others who have joined the group are also interested in early childhood education. This group, I think, will end up discussing many areas of education.
Anyway, I'm glad you joined and I look forward to meeting you.
Hi Jory, From the pictures on your website, it looks like you have a wonderful program, and are having a LOT of fun! :)
Just today, someone asked me about purchasing some of the already-sewn felt toys; I was getting ready to put some on Etsy and have a lot of animals sewn and also some people. So that's exciting! I like hand-sewing, though it's hard to fit in time to do lots of it. Etsy will be a way to sell some sewn items, as well as the pattern. http://www.etsy.com/shop/Fuzzlemania
I just joined this group; am interested in your work with early childhood education-- I'm a homeschool mom, and that has been my favorite age to teach (though I love teaching my older kids, too). What is your present business? I have an online educational materials small business-- www.gentleshepherd.biz
Thanks for sharing last nite at S&K....I think you are inspiring.
I love early childhood education. I worked with Head Start and Early Head Start for several years before moving into direct work with healing children suffering neglect and abuse. I look forward to meeting you!
Jory, thanks for the SE link. My bootcamps not all out crazy drop down give me 10 :) We do a lot of work in plank position with light handweights, we use the stability ball between interval sets, squats, lunges, crunches, etc.. It is not high impact and to describe it using exercise format I would say it is a mix of core, resistance (lighter weights), and cardio. The cardio we will do is customized for each individual so that they reach their target heart rate w/out going to high.
Jory, I'd love to hear about this location in SE... Tell me more :)
I love this picture of you, Jory, on the coast. I hope we can share that kind of creativity and radiance together through Feed Your Body & Soul!
I'm just getting over it myself. Sorry to hear you'll miss both. I know I'll have one spring equinox, not terribly far away and its a tradition, and may try to schedule one more in between. Other than that, anyone can propose something any time. Urban Grind used to be easy to book with but I've been going back and forth with them over a month now. Also looking at some other venues. As I mentioned lot of times we've met at somebody's house, works great if there's room, usually get 10-15
