Chaotic Soul has gigs coming up at The Wichita Pub (July 31) and Jos Saloon (TBA), both in Milwaukie. Hope to see you there!

So, to help get things back on track, and to help out with the lines of communication, I thought Id start a brief discussion where people can promote where they are playing these days.
As an example: I know that Liz and her boys will be playing at the Wichita Pub this upcoming Saturday. Mean Satisfaction will be slinging the blues for anybody that wants to come out and support them.
The following Saturday, The Lost Highwaymen will be playing at the Queen of Hearts. If youre looking to dance your legs wobbly, you can come out and listen to me and the boys lay down the celtic-rock thing.
But those are bands! Where are *you* yourself playing? There are tons of opportunities for individual musicians to get out and play, if youre just looking for a little fun, and a little exposure.
As an example on Thursday nights at 8:00, there is a wee little room at Mother Mabels bar (510 ne 28th ave for those who are too lazy to Google), where a very enthusiastic young crowd of musicians gathers to hone their stuff. The entire room only holds about 20 people, and it is very acoustic (no amps, may plug into the PA, but not even really necessary) but it is rather fun. Theyre an interesting group of young musicians, bringing their own unique blend to the microphone. Ive been heading out there this past month on Thursdays, to test out various different solo tunes, etc.
Are there any fun open mics that you want your friends to know about?
If so, respond to this thread, post the information, and maybe one or two of your Meetup friends will come out and join you!
