Hey everybody!

Wednesday night, Asher is hosting a jam at the Pub at the End of the Universe, startig at 8.  I'm heading on over at 9-ish, with some newer people in tow, so we should all be able to take over the place and have a ton of fun.

I figure that, since many people have an easy day the following Thursday, we should all meet up on Wednesday night, have some fun, and make some noise!   I invite you all to come on out and show the Pub at the End of the Universe what an awesome, diverse, and fun-loving crowd you all are!   This is goin to be my personal pre-Thanksgiving party!

I also wanted to note that we'll be looking for a new venue for our West-side jam session.  I want to thank the crew at Java Nation for stepping in at the last minute and letting us hang out there and make music today -- they were so nice!   If you've got a favourite West-side venue that you think would make a suitable host-site for a monthly jam session, please let me know.

I had a series of workshops and events originally slated for implementation in the fall, but while a lot of people expressed interest in them (which was why we designed and scheduled them, after all) people's schedules just got very busy.   We've been forced to postpone some of them until after the Holiday season finishes, and people's schedules free up a bit.

Which means that the events we still have scheduled are just *that* much more important!  If you've got something you want to try to get off the ground (Like Bill Wagoner's new Friday afternoon jam, now twice a month on the West side) just let me know.  Let's make sure that everybody has enough music going on in their lives to make their Holiday season enjoyable.

I have had people in the past ask about caroling.  If enough people are interested in doing a real caroling group (practice harmonies, etc.) would somebody be willing to help organize?   I mention it because the clock is ticking, and if people want a holiday event, we should start planning now!

Please Note: If you hit "REPLY", your message will be sent to everyone on this mailing list ([address removed])
