Miniature Collages With Puzzling Results!

This promises to be a truly puzzling workshop!  You will be supplied with old puzzle pieces for magical looking results.  Susan and Marsha will give examples of how to use these little works of art to enhance current projects or to display as your own personal collage puzzle.

We will use any or all the techniques that you already know and perhaps you will learn a few new techniques as the session progresses.  Bring your usual collage supplies:  scissors, xacto knives (especially useful when doing miniatures), glue, liquid matte medium, colored papers, pictures, etc.  However, to make your projects really POP, you can bring optional supplies such as colored pencils, painty pens, VERY small pictures, stick-on tiny beads, puff paints and if you like, bring a background for your puzzle pieces of canvas, cardboard, or whatever you would like to use to display your work.  These puzzle pieces will also make beautiful earrings, necklaces and brooches.  You are only limited by your own imagination!

We look forward to seeing you there.  We also have a surprise for you!  As usual, members attend for free as long as dues are paid.  Guests can attend for $5.00.  If you would like to join, dues are $36.00 per year, prorated from September.

Please come early and help us set up.

fun and different 'canvas' to work on - various puzzle sizes. Having the combined puzzle at the end was very fun - and proof that we are each unique in our art visions.

This was my first time coming to a class. I brought my mother (who does not craft) with me as we were headed to do some shopping afterward. We thoroughly enjoyed the class and the friendly, welcoming environment. I decided to join your group within the first five minutes of walking through the door. My mother said she would definitely like to come back as well. Thank you to our table mates, Suzanne and Sandy, who shared conversation, encouragement, and supplies. I look forward to the next class in May.

Great idea. Fun and friendly group but, for me, 2 hours is not enough time to accomplish much.
